Jonah Arnold

Jonah Arnold has extensive experience and a is keenly interested in business startups, particularly in the field of Regulated Health Professions. With the emergence of self-initiating professionals, more and more health care professionals are starting independent practices without adequate knowledge of the laws, regulations and policies they must adhere to. Business planning startup, understanding and adhering to professional college practice guidelines, contentious matters such as complaints and disciplinary actions and litigation are just a few of the areas in which Weinman, Arnold LLP focuses.

Jonah brings a very eclectic educational background to the Weinman, Arnold LLP partnership. He has nearly a decade of first hand entrepreneurial experience combined with exposure to small, medium and large sized businesses.

Jonah received his Bachelors of Laws from the University of Western Ontario and he is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Jonah articled with TD Insurance.

As well, Jonah has an Bachelors degree with honours in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Previously, his passion for health and wellness also lead him to the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences where he studied the basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Prior to law school, Jonah worked as the Information Technology Manager of the Cambridge Group of Clubs and RBC Royal Bank of Canada. Working closing with Chief Financial officers, Chief Executive Officers, controllers and managers, he acquired first hand knowledge of technology, financial matters and accounting matters.

Jonah also successfully started several businesses throughout the last decade. His most recent project, which he began with his wife, is the Total Wellness Centre with three locations throughout Toronto. In addition, Jonah coaches many small and medium sized businesses including professionals in the Allied Health Field (professions falling under the Regulated Health Professional Act), as well as Information Technology compannies, retail, and restaurant and food services companies, among others.

In addition to his legal practice, Jonah regularly lectures on such topics as Ethics and Jurisprudence to members of the regulated health field.
